BADEN BADEN, Germany A family living in the conditions of rural Germany a century ago, without electricity, gas or running water, is to be filmed for the entertainment of television viewers, the regional public broadcaster Suedwestrundfunk (SWR) said. The family, which has yet to be chosen, will ideally be composed of two parents and two children, the company said. For the purposes of the program they will live on a farm in the black forest region of southwestern Germany, AFP quoted SWR as saying. The plan is to film the family continually during August and September and then December to January for a four-part series to be broadcast in 2002.
